A Life of Art, Design, & DIY
“Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world.” - Brene Brown
On a recent visit back home, I was digging through a box of all the things my mother collected over the years…Report cards, school art projects, photos, etc. In that box I found a project from 1st grade. And in the pages of that project I found a bit that said “When I grow up I want to be…an artist.” Here I am 25(ish) years later still looking to fulfill that dream. On this blog I’ll occasionally be posting the art I create in my spare time, career related projects, and all the fun, crafty DIY’s I can’t get enough of.
Creating has always been a part of my DNA, which is why I not only try to make time to pursue my creative passions in my free time, but have pursued creativity as a career. You name the medium, chances are I’ve dabbled in it: Acrylics, water color, ink drawings, fabric, collage, furniture building, creative movement, photography, graphic design... And I truly enjoy it all! When it comes to my career, I’ve followed a path toward mostly graphic design and photography. If you’d like to take a peek, you can view some of my professional work in my Portfolio.
Otherwise, keep checking back for my passion projects on the blog.
